Athletic build male outside on a track using the Little Stick to massage their neck

35 Years. Millions of Athletes. One Simple Truth.

When Dr. Pat Belcher invented The Stick™ in 1989, he created something that worked so well, it's never needed to change.

1989 - The Beginning

Dr. Pat Belcher's Revolutionary Vision

In 1989, Chiropractic doctor Pat Belcher founded Relaxacizor Products Inc (RPI) and invented something the world had never seen—the first ever handheld massage device, The Stick™. What started as one doctor's vision to help his patients quickly became a breakthrough that would change how athletes and active people approach muscle recovery forever.

1989-2016 - Market Dominance

Three Decades of Unmatched Success

With tremendous success, The Stick™ became the first and #1 selling massage rolling device on the market—a title it held for over 30 years. From professional sports teams to weekend warriors, millions discovered what Dr. Belcher knew: sometimes the simplest solutions work best. The Stick™ didn't just create a market; it owned it.

2023 - Honoring the Legacy

The Stick Lives On

When Dr. Belcher passed away in 2016 and RPI closed in 2023, the manufacturing team who had crafted The Stick™ for over 20 years refused to let this revolutionary tool disappear. Devastated by the loss but determined to honor the legacy, they restarted production as The Original Stick™. Same proven product. Same quality craftsmanship. New mission to continue what Dr. Belcher started.

Four Core Innovations

Engineering That Actually Works

Flexible Core Technology

  • Firm yet flexible design contours to your muscles
  • Even pressure distribution vs. rigid alternatives
  • Visual: Animation showing flex vs. rigid comparison

Free Rolling Spindles

  • Proprietary design rolls INTO muscles (not just slides over)
  • Won't catch on clothing or pinch skin
  • Comparison: Real rolling vs. sliding motion

Ergonomic Handles

  • Designed for optimal grip and comfort
  • Ensures precise control during use
  • Built to prevent twisting for enhanced durability

No-Mess Materials

  • Prevents buildup of sweat, dirt, and bacteria
  • Ensures a hygienic experience
  • Safe and clean for repeated use

Why Knockoffs Don't Work

Common Issues with Imitators

Spindles That Stick and Catch

Generic massage sticks use inferior spindle designs that catch on clothing and pinch skin.

Instead of the smooth, therapeutic rolling action you need, you get jerky, uncomfortable movement that can actually cause more tension and irritation.

Cores That Break or Lose Flexibility

Cheap imitations use low-grade materials that either snap under pressure or become too soft to provide effective muscle compression.

What starts as a "deal" quickly becomes a useless piece of equipment that fails when you need it most.

Materials That Irritate Skin

Many knockoffs contain harmful chemicals, latex, and phthalates that can trigger allergic reactions, skin rashes, and long-term health concerns.

The Original Stick's phthalate-free, latex-free materials ensure safe use for everyone, including those with sensitivities.

Lack of Engineering Precision

Imitators copy the appearance but miss the critical engineering details that make The Original Stick effective.

From spindle spacing to core flexibility ratios, every measurement has been perfected through decades of research and real-world testing.
